About Me
Hi, my name is Christine and I have worked in the specialised field in the Early Years Sector for over 15 years. My passion is supporting children between the ages of 10 Months - 5 Years by building a positive approach and positive impact in their learning and developmental needs which I consider the essential building blocks to making a difference for growth and to reach their potential.
As a parent myself I know how important and special it is when building rapport, trust and close collaboration with others, and as parents we want to know that our children`s developmental needs are being met unconditionally.
My employment background has given me the opportunites to work at various levels including Deputy Management identifying opportunites of learning for each child as well as staff training ensuring transparency and integrity by building a welcoming, safe and engaging environment.
Following on from this I have invested my time in training courses such as:
-
Safeguarding
-
First Aid
-
Challenging Behaviours
-
Confidentiality
Above all, I am skilled and knowledgeable in a range of age-appropriate indoor & outdoor activities including games, and crafts, and able to share skills in line with good practice policies and procedures.
Further afield I have continued to undergo relevant professional training to enhance my practice, knowledge and understanding and have applied myself in this specailised sector by continious professional development and accredited courses in:
-
Master’s (MA) in Early Childhood Studies
-
BA (Hons) Degree in Teaching & Learning in the Early Years
